Customs supervision of biocide imports
Finnish Customs will be granted the right to inspect and stop non-compliant biocidal products ordered by private individuals from other EU countries immediately upon entry. The change applies, for example, to mosquito repellents, rodent poisons, and products treated with biocides ordered from online stores.

Transferring import VAT to the Finnish Tax Administration
Value added taxation on imports of goods by businesses liable for VAT will be transferred from Finnish Customs to the Finnish Tax Administration. Businesses will declare and deduct import VAT directly on their own VAT return.
