Reforming working hours and protection
The Working Hours Act will be reformed to reflect modern working practices by introducing new flexible working time arrangements and a statutory working hours bank. At the same time, remote work will be brought more clearly within the scope of working hours protection, and the maximum number of consecutive night shifts will be limited.

Improving job security for zero-hours workers
Variable-hours contracts, such as zero-hours contracts, may be concluded only when the employer's labour need genuinely varies. Employees will also be guaranteed the right to pay during sick leave and notice periods, as well as the right to refuse additional shifts without adverse consequences.
