Social security agreement with Uruguay
Finland and Uruguay will introduce a social security agreement that clarifies pension provision for workers moving between the two countries. Pension contributions for workers posted to the other country will be paid to only one country at a time, and accrued pension rights will be preserved when moving from one country to the other.

Allowing diplomats' family members to work
Family members of Finnish and Uruguayan diplomats and mission staff will be entitled to engage in gainful employment in their host state. Employment will be possible without family members having to waive their diplomatic status.

Closer customs cooperation with Uruguay
