Travel bankruptcy compensation for cancelled trips
The state can compensate passengers for payments for trips cancelled due to the coronavirus epidemic and received travel vouchers if a tour operator goes bankrupt. Compensation will be paid when claims cannot be covered by the tour operator's securities.

Reforming traveller insolvency protection
The security system for travel service providers will be reformed to ensure that travellers are more reliably refunded their advance payments and brought home if a travel organiser becomes insolvent. A new insolvency protection fee and increased supervisory fees will be introduced for businesses in the sector.

Reforming and expanding traveller protection
The new act will replace the Package Travel Act and extend travellers' rights to cover combinations of travel services assembled online and separately. At the same time, the rules on cancelling trips, limits on price increases, and compensation in cases of non-conformity will be clarified.
