Revising water management and data collection
Deadlines for achieving the environmental objectives of river basin management plans could be extended beyond 2027 if improvements in the status of waters are delayed due to natural conditions. In addition, the act will lay down clear rules on the right of authorities and private operators to collect environmental data on land and water areas.
