Reforming eastern border fence compensation
Compensation paid to landowners for permanent barriers and the barrier fence in the border zone will be decided by an expropriation committee of the National Land Survey of Finland instead of the Finnish Border Guard. Raising expropriation compensation
Higher compensation will be paid for expropriated immovable property in order to strengthen the protection of landowners' property. Compensation will be calculated according to the market value of the property, and an increase of 25 per cent will be added to the compensation for the property taken and for damage.
