Repealing the unemployment security activation model
The unemployment security activation model will be dismantled completely. Unemployed people will no longer need to work a minimum amount or participate in employment services to keep their unemployment benefits at the full rate.

Easier studying on unemployment benefits
Unemployed jobseekers aged at least 25 will be able to study for up to six months without losing their unemployment benefit. The studies will also count towards the activity required under the activation model for unemployment security.

Introducing the unemployment activation model
Unemployment benefit will decrease by 4.65 per cent if an unemployed person does not work sufficiently or participate in employment services during a three-month monitoring period. At the same time, the waiting period at the start of unemployment will be shortened from seven days to five days.
