    The legislation on client fees for health and social services will be comprehensively reformed and brought to the statutory level. Healthcare services for minors will become free of charge, the fee cap will be expanded, and the fee criteria for housing services will be harmonised.

    Expanding free outpatient services for veterans

    Persons disabled as a result of the 1939–1945 wars will receive health and social services outpatient care free of charge with a degree of disability of just 10 per cent. The change will make it easier for elderly disabled war veterans to live at home both in Finland and in Sweden.
