    Raising ASP loans and age limits

    The upper age limit for starting ASP saving will rise to 44 years, and people buying a home together can receive an ASP interest-subsidy loan that is 50 per cent larger than for a single buyer. At the same time, the maximum state guarantee for owner-occupied housing loans will be raised to 60,000 euros.

    The social security and parental daily allowance systems will be made gender-neutral. Same-sex married and cohabiting couples will be treated on the same grounds for benefits as opposite-sex couples.

    Reforming forename and surname legislation

    Finnish name legislation will be reformed by increasing freedom of choice in selecting names and moving the processing of name matters online. An individual will be able to have four forenames, a combination of two surnames, and additional time will be granted for notifying the name of a newborn child.
