Transfer of police chief appointments
The appointment of heads of police departments will be transferred from the Ministry of the Interior to the National Police Board. Reforming water traffic rules and boating
The rules for waterborne traffic will be brought together into a single new act, and a clear responsibility of the master will be defined for recreational craft. At the same time, boat rental will be made easier, and administrative traffic penalty fees will begin to be imposed for minor infractions instead of petty fines.

Streamlining consular and notarial services
Notarial services of Finnish missions could be outsourced to external service providers, and their provision within missions will be made more flexible. At the same time, authorities will discontinue separate estate services, and the service for obtaining documents from abroad will be restricted.
