Temporary VAT exemption on coronavirus equipment
Protective equipment and supplies used in combating, testing for and treating the coronavirus will temporarily be exempt from value added tax (VAT). The tax relief applies to domestic sales to public health and social services as well as intra-EU acquisitions.

Police powers to intercept drones
The police will be granted the right to intervene in the flight of model aircraft and drones and, if necessary, take possession of them to guarantee security. The movement of an aircraft can be prevented, for example, using technical jamming devices or force.

Powers to prevent serious environmental damage
State supervisory authorities will be able to take direct action to prevent a serious hazard to the environment or health if the company responsible for the activity is, for example, bankrupt or unknown. Where possible, the costs incurred from the measures will be recovered retroactively from the liable party.
