The processing of appeals concerning asylum decisions in the courts will be expedited by shortening appeal periods and designating the cases as urgent. Reforming personal data processing in immigration administration
Rules governing the processing of personal data related to immigration will be compiled into a single act and brought into line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. At the same time, the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) will be enabled to use automated decision-making in certain clear and routine categories of cases.

Centralising qualifications register and student places
The register of completed competence-based qualifications will be centralised under the Finnish National Agency for Education, and opportunities for experimentation will be expanded.
