Young farmers will be made eligible for a state guarantee in connection with start-up aid, and basic drainage projects for agricultural land will be incorporated into agricultural investment aid.

Reforming agricultural support for the EU
The agricultural support system will be reformed for the EU's 2023–2027 funding period by enacting new acts on direct payments to farmers, rural development compensations and the implementation of support. Previous complex payment entitlements will be abolished, aid applications will become fully electronic, and monitoring will transition to satellite tracking.
