Offshore wind tenders for group companies
Multiple companies from the same corporate group will be able to take part in competitive tenders for wind power in Finnish marine areas. The earlier restriction will be removed so that the regulations comply with the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Developing the Supreme Court precedent system
The Supreme Court's opportunities to issue precedents that guide judicial practice would be improved by establishing two new procedures. Lower courts could request a ruling from the Supreme Court on an unclear legal issue directly during proceedings, and the Supreme Court could also decide precedent issues in cases where a court of appeal has refused leave for continued consideration.

Speeding up asylum processes and appeals
The processing of appeals concerning asylum decisions in the courts will be expedited by shortening appeal periods and designating the cases as urgent. At the same time, publicly funded legal aid for asylum seekers will be restricted and the granting of leave to appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court tightened.

Aligning trademark law with EU law
The Trademarks Act will be clarified and updated to align with European Union legislation and case law. The act will lay down more precise provisions on the content, limitations and distinctive character of trademark protection.
