Strengthening family benefits and purchasing power
Several social benefits for families with children will be increased for 2023 due to accelerating inflation and rising prices. In addition, the annual out-of-pocket maximum for medicine reimbursements will be frozen for one year, and the care supplement of the private day care allowance will be increased permanently.

Extra child benefit in December 2022
All recipients of child benefit will be paid double child benefit in December 2022. The extra child benefit will not reduce the social assistance received by the family.
