Restoring companies to the trade register
A company deregistered from the trade register due to a failure to submit notifications will be able to apply for restoration to the register and continue its operations. Restoration requires reporting the missing information, paying any prescribed fees, and submitting the application within one year of the deregistration decision.

Centralising corporate data in EU portal
Finnish companies and financial sector entities will be required to submit their financial and sustainability information to national collection bodies, which will forward it to an EU-wide single access point. The change will improve free access to and the comparability of company data for investors across Europe.

Centralising BIS maintenance to the PRH
Technical maintenance and development of the Business Information System will be transferred entirely to the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH). The change will clarify the division of duties between authorities and will not affect transactions by businesses or the operation of the service.

Digitalising corporate financial statements
Limited liability companies and partnerships owned by limited liability companies will have to prepare and submit their financial statements to the Trade Register in digital format. The reform will improve the availability, quality and comparability of corporate financial data.

Tax authority access to money laundering data
The Finnish Tax Administration will gain the right to inspect customer identification and beneficial ownership data of entities covered by anti-money laundering legislation. In addition, the Finnish Tax Administration will be able to report deficiencies it identifies directly to the Financial Supervisory Authority and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.

Reforming the auditor fee system
