Expanding beef and crop producer organisations
Beef and arable crop producers will be able to establish officially recognised producer organisations and negotiate delivery contracts jointly. The amendment would strengthen farmers' bargaining power and the profitability of production in relation to industry and retail.

Abolishing plant breeding fees and subsidies
Plant breeding fees levied on the seed trade for old varieties and the associated subsidies will be abolished. However, the breeding of arable crops essential for security of supply can still be supported from the National Emergency Supply Fund.
