Reforming reindeer damage dispute resolution
Municipal assessment boards will be abolished, and disputes over compensation for damage caused by reindeer will be transferred to the district courts. To investigate and mediate disputes, a new independent reindeer damage board will be established to provide expert opinions on request.

Enhancing competition oversight and competitive neutrality
Public bodies will be required to keep separate accounts for their commercial activities on the market in order to safeguard fair competition. At the same time, the powers of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) in inspections and the exchange of information between authorities will be improved.

Tightening parish election disqualification rules
A person standing as a candidate in parish elections, or a close relation of theirs, will no longer be able to serve on an electoral board. At the same time, data protection regarding the electoral roll will be improved.

An obligation to act impartially would be laid down for election officials, and the participation of candidates and their close relatives in election duties would be restricted.
