Expanding free outpatient services for veterans
Persons disabled as a result of the 1939–1945 wars will receive health and social services outpatient care free of charge with a degree of disability of just 10 per cent. The change will make it easier for elderly disabled war veterans to live at home both in Finland and in Sweden.

Finnish war invalids living in Sweden will receive compensation for home and meal services at a lower degree of disability than before. The change will improve their opportunities to live at home and harmonise their position with war invalids living in Finland.
