Improving legal protection against discrimination
Victims of discrimination will be ensured a better opportunity to conciliate their cases or seek a resolution without fear of the time limit for bringing an action expiring. At the same time, the independence and smooth operation of equality and non-discrimination authorities will be strengthened.

Deaf truth and reconciliation process
A truth and reconciliation process for deaf people and sign language users will be carried out in Finland to document rights violations and discrimination against them. An independent secretariat will be established for the work to gather experiences and prepare proposed measures to promote reconciliation.
