Sending emergency warnings directly to mobile phones
Authorities will be able to send emergency warnings directly to the mobile phones of people in a danger area without downloading a separate application. The new cell broadcast system will complement existing warning channels, such as radio, television and the 112 Suomi app.

Provisions on publicity and consultation may be derogated from in environmental permit and notification procedures concerning specially protected chemical and fuel depots of the Finnish Defence Forces. Informing passengers about animal diseases
Passenger transport and postal operators will be required to provide passengers with information on serious animal diseases and movement restrictions relating to them. At the same time, Finnish Customs will be granted the right to carry out animal disease control inspections independently as executive assistance.

Reducing employers' notification obligations
Employers will no longer need to notify the public employment services (TE services) of lay-offs or dismissals affecting at least ten employees. The employer's obligation to inform dismissed employees about public employment services will also be abolished.

Disputes between consumers and businesses can be resolved faster and more smoothly without court proceedings. Matters taken to the Consumer Disputes Board will first be directed to consumer advisory services, and time limits will be set for handling disputes.
