The ordering of conversion sentences for unpaid fines, the enforcement of forfeitures, and the granting of extensions to pay fines will be streamlined and digitalised. Those liable to pay will also be able to request an administrative review of decisions made by the Legal Register Centre.

Customs oversight of carbon border adjustment
Finland will introduce the reporting obligations of the first phase of the EU's carbon border adjustment mechanism. Finnish Customs will supervise the reporting of emissions for imported products and may impose penalty fees for deficient reporting.
