Minimum salary for worker residence permits
A new monthly minimum salary threshold of 1,600 euros will be set for workers arriving in Finland on a residence permit for an employed person. A residence permit can no longer be granted for work where the monthly salary paid falls below this threshold.

Updating data protection in TE services
Regulation of the customer data system of the public employment services (TE services) will be brought into line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The responsibilities of the KEHA Centre and the public employment services (TE services) regarding the processing of customer data and system access rights will be clearly laid down in law.

Opening Eures to private operators
