    Lending remuneration for e-books and e-audiobooks

    Authors will begin to receive remuneration for the library use of e-books and e-audiobooks in the same way as traditional lending remuneration. The remuneration will also be extended to audiobook narrators.

    Authors and other creators will also receive copyright remuneration for works borrowed from higher education libraries. Previously, lending remuneration has been paid only for loans made from public libraries.
