    Driving a passenger car will be prohibited for 17-year-olds at night between 00:00 and 05:00, and cars driven by them must display a minor driver sign.     Drivers will be able to prove their right to drive in traffic enforcement using a smartphone mobile application alongside a physical driving licence. In addition, driving licences issued in the Faroe Islands and Greenland will allow temporary driving in mainland Finland.

    Separate acts concerning alcohol interlocks will be replaced with a new, unified Act on Alcohol Interlocks and amendments to the Driving Licence Act. At the same time, arrangements for supervised driving rights will be eased by removing the obligation to periodically download alcohol interlock usage data.
