Easing coronavirus restrictions on venues
The statutory two-metre safe distance requirement and infection incidence threshold will be removed from coronavirus restrictions on customer premises and public spaces. Authorities will be able to impose restrictions on the use of premises more flexibly and on a more case-by-case basis than before.

Extending restaurant restrictions through June 2021
Coronavirus restrictions on restaurant opening hours, alcohol service, customer capacity and hygiene will be extended until the end of June 2021. The measures aim to prevent the spread of coronavirus in close social contacts.

Reopening restaurants with coronavirus restrictions
Restaurants and cafés will be allowed to reopen their doors to customers from the beginning of June. However, restrictions will be placed on customer numbers, opening hours and hygiene to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
