Reforming Hansel's duties and procurement systems
The duties of the central government procurement company, Hansel Oy, will be expanded to the maintenance of the electronic procurement system and the processing of procurement data. The change will improve the transparency of public procurement and make submitting notices smoother.

Opening Hansel's services to regions
The services of the central government purchasing body Hansel Ltd will be opened to the future regions and their contracting authorities. At the same time, the company will be granted the right to collect and analyse public procurement data.

Opening Hansel's procurement services to municipalities
The central government purchasing body Hansel Oy and KL-Kuntahankinnat Oy, owned by the Association of Finnish Municipalities, will be merged. Municipalities, churches and Keva will also be able to make their purchases of goods and services through Hansel.
