    Electronic vehicle registration will be made easier by allowing transactions on behalf of another person under authorisation, and passport photographs already held in the police register can be used for driving licences. At the same time, information exchange between authorities will be enhanced, and the separate non-disclosure for personal safety in the vehicle register will be abolished.

    A technical error made in an earlier legislative amendment will be corrected in the Act on the Processing of Personal Data in Police Operations. A reference to the processing of data under the EU Prüm Decision in international police cooperation will be reinstated into the provision.
