Reforming pension company management qualifications
The qualification and eligibility requirements for the management and administrative bodies of earnings-related pension insurance companies will be tightened and clarified. At the same time, it will be made easier to appoint financial sector experts to the administrative bodies of the companies, and the liability for damages of the Board of the Finnish Centre for Pensions will be specified.

Transferring pension contributions to employees
The earnings-related pension contribution for employees will be increased and the employer contribution reduced correspondingly. The change will be implemented in phases in 2017–2020 as part of the Competitiveness Pact.

Reforming Sitra's governance structure
A dedicated supervisory board, separate from the Parliamentary Supervisory Council of the Bank of Finland, will be established for the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra. At the same time, the composition of Sitra's board of directors and the position of the president will be reformed.
