    Selling one's own home will no longer require the consent of a former spouse if more than ten years have passed since divorce or the death of the spouse. Clarifications will be made to the act so that this rule and its transitional period are applied correctly.

    Conscripts and persons liable for non-military service who are permanently disabled in service will be entitled to a new lump-sum compensation. A new death benefit will begin to be paid to the close relatives of persons who die during service.

    Accident and illness cover for persons performing military service and serving in crisis management operations will be improved. The exceptional conditions of service will be taken into account better in compensation, and participants in civilian crisis management will receive the same comprehensive cover as peacekeepers.
