Consumer protection for personal services
Clear rules will be added to the Consumer Protection Act for situations where a service provided to a person is delayed or defective. Consumers will receive stronger rights to price reductions, damages and free cancellation of services, for instance in the event of illness.

Extending restaurant closures by three weeks
Customer premises of restaurants and other food and beverage service businesses will be kept closed for a further three weeks in areas where the coronavirus epidemic is at its worst. Takeaway sales and food pickup will, however, remain permitted.
