Victims of severe work-related exploitation will be granted more time to apply for unpaid wages through the state pay security scheme. Extending COVID-19 reimbursements and allowances
Kela reimbursements for COVID-19 vaccinations and tests and the eased conditions for the infectious disease allowance would be extended until the end of 2022. The accrual of an employee's annual leave during absence caused by a coronavirus infection would also be safeguarded for the same period.

Easing access to infectious disease allowance
An employee infected with the coronavirus or a parent caring for an ill child can receive infectious disease allowance on the basis of a regular medical certificate without an official isolation order. Annual leave accrues during the period of absence as normal.

Safeguarding annual leave rights after illness
Employees would be guaranteed the right to at least four weeks of paid leave even if they have been absent from work for a long period due to illness, accident or rehabilitation. In addition, the period within which annual leave postponed due to illness must be taken would be extended.

Annual holiday accrual from family leave will be limited, and a six-day qualifying period will be introduced for falling ill during annual holiday before leave can be postponed. However, employees will always be guaranteed an annual holiday of at least four weeks.

Restricting farm relief services and raising fees
The right of agricultural entrepreneurs and fur producers to farm relief services and temporary stand-in assistance will be restricted, and the fees charged for the services will be increased. The entitlement of livestock producers to 26 days of free annual leave will remain unchanged.
