Joining the aids to navigation organisation
Finland will approve and bring into force the Convention on the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation. Following the change, the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), which previously operated as an association, will become an intergovernmental international organisation.

Easing staffing obligations in elderly care
Municipal obligations regarding the expertise required in services for older persons will be eased, and the separate designated responsible worker in elderly care will be abolished. Older persons will be assigned a designated worker under the Social Welfare Act.

Procurements made by the European Commission and EU agencies to combat the covid-19 pandemic will be exempt from value added tax (VAT). Businesses will be able to sell these goods and services to EU bodies without VAT.

Easing coronavirus restrictions on venues
The statutory two-metre safe distance requirement and infection incidence threshold will be removed from coronavirus restrictions on customer premises and public spaces.
