Citizens will be able to receive electronic notifications and messages from public authorities not only in the Suomi.fi service but also in private digital mail services of their choice. This makes it possible to gather official mail and messages from private companies in the same application if desired.

Introduction of a digital identity card
An official digital identity card functioning on a smartphone will be created for Finland, allowing individuals to prove their identity online and in face-to-face transactions. At the same time, electronic service tools will be introduced for foreign nationals and for individuals who do not use a smartphone.
