The act on the promotion of immigrant integration will be completely reformed, and responsibility for promoting the integration of immigrants will be transferred to municipalities as part of the employment services reform. The upper age limit for support measures for young people who arrived in Finland as unaccompanied minors and have been granted a residence permit will rise from 21 to 25. The state will reimburse municipalities for the costs of young people's housing and support services up to the age of 25.
