Penalties for illicit movement of cultural goods
Finnish Customs will be granted the right to impose a penalty fee for bringing or moving cultural goods into the customs territory of the EU if the goods were exported unlawfully from their country of origin. The fee may also be imposed in situations where the goods are merely transported through Finland or held in a customs warehouse.

Abolishing humanitarian protection residence permits
The possibility of obtaining a residence permit on the basis of humanitarian protection will be removed from the Aliens Act to align Finnish regulation with the EU minimum level. At the same time, the service of asylum decisions will be expedited and permit fees will be required to be paid before the processing of paper applications begins.

Residence right applications for British citizens
British citizens living in Finland and their family members must apply for a right of residence under the Brexit withdrawal agreement to continue living in the country. Safeguarding residence rights for British citizens
