Financing calculations for wellbeing services counties and municipalities will be updated to reflect the latest cost and needs data ahead of the reform of health and social services. Municipal income tax rates will be cut by 12.64 percentage points from the start of 2023 so that a corresponding share of tax revenue is transferred to central government to fund the operations of wellbeing services counties.
