Meetings for jobseekers in the employment services will be made more flexible, and applying for jobs referred by the authorities will become immediately mandatory. At the same time, unemployment security sanctions will be tightened so that entitlement to benefits will be lost for a fixed period as early as the first failure to comply.

Cutting vocational education and training funding
Funding for vocational education and training will be cut by 120 million euros from 2025 onwards, reducing study places for adults who already hold a qualification.
